Description
Microsoft 365 Business Basic is a cloud-productivity suite targeted mostly at businesses that need business-class email, cloud storage, collaboration tools, and basic security, but don’t require full desktop Office apps.
- Web & mobile versions of Office apps: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote. (Desktop apps not included in this plan)
- Business-class email via Exchange Online: Custom domain email (you@yourbusiness.com), a mailbox per user (~50 GB) with the ability to send large attachments.
- Cloud storage: Each user gets 1 TB OneDrive storage.
- Collaboration & communication tools:
- Microsoft Teams: Chat, audio/video meetings, conferencing.
- SharePoint Online: Team & intranet sites, document collaboration.
- Additional web-based tools: Microsoft Forms, Planner, Bookings, Lists, Sway, etc
- Basic security & admin features: multi-factor authentication (MFA), spam/malware filtering, identity management for up to 300 users, admin center to manage users/domains/devices.
